Sunday Lunch Menu

Available Sunday Lunchtimes 

This menu changes on a weekly basis.  As such, the menu shown below is a sample menu, to provide a suggestion of typical choices and menu format.  This menu is only published on Sunday mornings each week and is not available in advance of this.

Starters

 

Chestnut mushrooms & goats’ cheese, brioche, salsa verde

Duck & orange parfait, preserved pears, sour dough toast


Caramelised king scallops, cauliflower & curry oil (£5 supp)

Marinated smoked salmon, fennel pollen, capers, quail egg, horseradish cream

Burrata cheese, roasted beetroot, sunflower seeds

Spiced butternut squash soup

 


Main Courses

 

Blade of beef, Yorkshire pudding, horseradish potatoes

Goosnargh duck breast, boulangère potatoes, apple, charred cauliflower (£4 supp)

Chalk stream trout, curried leeks & potatoes, ginger & lime

Lamb loin & shoulder, peas, broad beans, hotpot potatoes (£4 supp)

Fillet of beef steak, mushrooms & green peppercorn sauce (£9 supp)

 

 

Desserts

White chocolate cheesecake, rhubarb, stem ginger, blood orange meringue

Coconut panna cotta, pineapple, caramel

Pear & apple crumble, honey, custard ice cream

Warm chocolate brownie, chocolate sauce, clotted ‘iced’ cream

Selection of cheeses, membrillo grapes, Artisan biscuits (£6 supp)
